THE HEART BEHIND THE DEBORAH TREE

Life has a way of bringing us into seasons that stretch us beyond what we ever expected. Seasons where we realize something needs to change, but we're not sure where to begin. We try harder, push through, keep everyone else afloat, and hope that if we just work a little harder, things will eventually get better. Yet somehow, we remain exhausted, discouraged, and longing for something different.

The Deborah Tree was born from years of discovering that lasting transformation isn't about trying harder—it's about becoming rooted in truth. It's about understanding how God designed us, recognizing the patterns that shape our lives, and taking intentional steps toward lasting change.

Like many women, I've walked through seasons that challenged me, stretched me, and revealed places where I needed to grow. Along the way, I discovered something that changed the trajectory of my life.

I learned that lasting change doesn't always begin when our circumstances change. Sometimes it begins when we allow truth to reshape the way we see ourselves, our situations, and the path ahead. My circumstances didn't immediately change, but my perspective did—and that shift changed everything.

As I began to replace fear with truth, confusion with understanding, and striving with intentional growth, I started seeing myself and my circumstances differently. My challenges didn't disappear overnight, but I no longer viewed them through the same lens. And often, that's where transformation begins.

At the core of everything I believe is this:

  • Our identity shapes our thoughts.

  • Our thoughts shape our choices.

  • Our choices shape the direction of our lives.

When our identity is rooted in fear, shame, performance, or the expectations of others, we'll continually struggle to experience the freedom we long for. But when our identity is rooted in the truth of who God says we are, everything begins to change.

That's the heart behind The Deborah Tree.

My mission is to help women understand how God designed them and equip them with practical tools that create lasting transformation. By connecting insights from psychology, brain science, habits, and Scripture, my desire is to help women move beyond simply surviving and begin living with greater clarity, confidence, wisdom, and purpose.

Because transformation isn't about becoming someone else.

It's about becoming more fully the woman you were created to be.

Why 'The Deborah Tree'?

The Deborah Tree is named after one of my favorite women in Scripture.

Deborah was known for her wisdom, discernment, and courageous leadership. During a time of uncertainty, people sought her out because they trusted her to help them navigate difficult decisions and challenging seasons. Scripture tells us she would sit beneath the palm of Deborah, and the Israelites came to her for wisdom, guidance, and counsel.

That image has always stayed with me.

While we won't literally sit beneath a tree together, my hope is to create that same kind of space—a place where women feel safe to slow down, think deeply, ask honest questions, gain fresh perspective, and discover practical next steps for the road ahead.

A place where you don't have to pretend to have it all together.

Where questions are encouraged because curiosity often leads to clarity.

Where truth is spoken with both grace and compassion.

Where you're challenged to grow, encouraged when the journey feels hard, and equipped with practical tools you can carry into everyday life.

My desire is that every conversation leaves you with greater clarity, renewed hope, and the confidence to take your next intentional step.

If that's the kind of space you've been searching for, I'd be honored to welcome you to The Deborah Tree.
